Are you Meal Planning Yet?

Well, the yellow box containing a reminder to update my latest version of WordPress has not been removed on 3 of my blogs… until today.

I don’t know about many of you, but I have this dreaded fear when it comes to doing any of the WordPress Version updates because there are so many steps to complete and backups to do and plugins to deactivate.

A pure nightmare, in my opinion! So I put it off for as long as possible!

Today, however, I found a breath of fresh air in the WordPress Automatic Plugin. I was totally impressed.

I downloaded the file. Unzipped it. Uploaded the folder to my wp-content/plugins folder. Went to my Plugins and activated it.

I clicked in the yellow box at the top of the page where it said “WordPress Automatic Update” or something like that.

Followed all the simple steps and for me, the install went without any problems and no errors and all plugins were reactivated.

The whole process took about 5-7 minutes from start to completion for each of my 3 blogs. That was nice, three WordPress version upgrades in under 30 minutes.

Now keep in mind, this is my personal usage review and observation of this particular WordPress plugin. If you decide to download and install this plugin, then it is purely by your choice and decision.

My updates were without any problems, however, there are different systems which do, unfortunately, have incompatibility issues which then cause the install to be incomplete with errors.

You can visit WordPress Automatic Plugin and make your own decision as to whether you want to use this plugin or not.

I am sure others would be interested to learn how this particular plugin works for you or whether your system may have experienced problems with it.
